TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
My name is Michelle, I am 37 years old and I have been creating different forms of content for the last 7 years. I have always been a reader and I adore Cozy Mysteries. My channel is based on my love of reading & I have videos varying from My monthly TBRs to why I love my kindle! My videos are uploaded at least every Tuesday and Friday.

- I have a 11 year old son.
- I just found out I am cancer free after battling Uterine Cancer since the beginning of the year.
- I have a toy poodle named Pete, who is literally my life.
WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE FOR YOU?
Wake up to the sound of my Chickens crowing outside my bedroom window, which than wakes up Pete the poodle, he wants his wet food. I usually am at my computer a lot of the day with frequent breaks to read my latest cozy mystery I am usually reading. You can find me either outside with my 12 chickens or inside with my family and pets. I just love being about the people and things that bring me joy.
DO YOU DO THIS FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, OR IS IT A SIDE-HOBBY?
My YouTube channel is definitely a side-hobby. I love making the videos and being a part of the community by frequenting live reading sprints on other channels. I do reselling full-time on eBay so that takes up most of my non-reading time.
WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO FOCUS ON COZY MYSTERIES?
I first started reading Cozy Mysteries when a read turned me on to a series by Auralee Wallace, The Otter Lake Mystery Series. And I have been all about it ever since, I like how they nicely tight together at the end. I also adore the underlying love interest part of the series. I think about it now, Another thing I love is that a lot of the characters in these mysteries are my age (at least the ones I read) or right around my age. I can relate to them and their reactions in certain situations.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING INVOLVED IN THE COZY MYSTERY COMMUNITY?
How legitimately welcoming the community has been! I am involved in a few live reading sprints, Everyone always welcomes you.. They like to chat about and recommend books. There’s isn’t a feeling of them seeing you as “oh another reading channel..” Just a really welcoming community.
WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE WRITERS?
This was hard but also easy. I think my two absolute favourite authors are by far Korina Moss who writes the Cheese shop Mystery Series (First book is Cheddar Off Dead) and Tara Lush who writes the Coffee Lovers Mystery Series (First book is Grounds for Murder). They write series that, while they are the “typical” cozy mystery are also slightly different so you definitely want to go onto the next books.
WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE LOVE TO READ COZY MYSTERIES?
They’re never too serious. This isn’t a phycological thriller that’s going to leave you scarred for life. They’re easy reads that are enjoyable but still a mystery so there is a little bit of suspense of “who-dun-it”.

Grounds for Murder by Tara Lush, Premeditated Peppermint by Amanda Flower & Thinner by Stephen King.

I don’t have anything right now in the works, but I am always on my YouTube channel Tuesdays and Fridays with new videos!
