That reading slump that I went on at the end of January and the start of February was really tough. I simply had NO motivation to read anything! And while I’m still on track of my goal to blog at least 5 times a month, you could definitely see my productivity drop off sharply during my reading slump.
Luckily, I think that the slump is behind me and I’m back feeling excited about books and blogging again. And I did manage to collect some great advice on how to get over a reading slump and turn it into a useful blog post.

After read a solid five books in January, that reading slump really took its toll and I only managed to finish two books in February. Luckily, one was False Value by Ben Aaronovitch – Book 8 in the fantastic Rivers of London series. This was on my list books that I’m excited for in 2020 so it was a great way to break out of my book doldrums. I’ll be reviewing it this week so keep an eye out!
Here are the books I read in February:
- 2020 GoodReads Challenge: 7/50
- #AToZCozy2020 Reading Challenge: 4/26

- [review] Death on the Danube by Jennifer S. Alderson
- 5 for Friday: books I’m excited for in 2020
- [review] Hattie Goes to Hollywood by Caroline James [blog tour]
- 5 for Friday: How to get over a reading slump
Well, now that I’ve broken out of my reading slump, let’s hope March brings more books and blog posts. Thanks for stopping by!
