So… May. Wow.
I have typed, deleted, typed again, and deleted again over a dozen times now but I know that no matter how many times I start over, I will never be able to put into written words what is tumbling around in my head. And I think I’m okay with that. Alongside the pandemic, this is a really historical time. And I hope that means that real change is on the horizon.
With all that has been going on, I’m surprised how many books I was able to finish in May. Again, I did a lot of audiobook listening and am making real progress in the Agatha Christie catalog. I’ve also picked up more cozy mysteries for my #AToZCozy2020
I managed to only read ONE book this past month but I did listen to TWELVE audiobooks for a total of THIRTEEN completed books in May (a slight dip from April but still pretty high for me!)
Here’s the one book I actually read in May:
And here are the books I listened to in April:
- 2020 GoodReads Challenge: 40/50 (I may increase this goal to 100 if I hit it 50 next month)
- #AToZCozy2020 Reading Challenge: 8/26
While I did do much more reading than usual, my blogging sadly didn’t keep pace. I barely blogged in May (3 posts? How embarrassing) and June hasn’t gotten off to a great start, but I’m doing what I can and working my way through my blogging commitments before I take on more.
- [review] Proof of Murder by Lauren Elliott
- [review] The Saracen’s Mark by S.W. Perry [blog tour]
- [review] A Study in Murder by Callie Hutton
And that’s it for May! Let me know what you’ve been up to – I really want to hear from you! Stay safe and stay kind!
