HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED WITH THE COZY MYSTERY COMMUNITY? I have a youtube channel and Instagram un Courtagonist. I have been reviewing Cozy Mysteries predominantly since June of 2017.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
I am 32 years old and have been working in education for 10 years. I am an avid reader, mother, wife, and have just finished the first draft of my own cozy mystery series!
LIST THREE FUN FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF THAT WE WOULDN’T READ IN YOUR ‘OFFICIAL’ BIO.
- I am left handed.
- I love spam and mac & cheese
- I have an eclectic taste in music from Eminem to Fleetwood Mac and everything in between.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO WRITE COZY MYSTERIES?
I’ll go with a weekend. No one wants to know my work day. 😅😂 I normally wake up around 550am, get my son’s breakfast ready while my husband wakes him up. We watch Blues Clues, read tons of books, play, and then it is nap time. During his nap is when I brainstorm ideas for videos, I write, or read. His nap is usually 3 hours long and I can get a lot done at that time. He wakes up and we rinse & repeat with playing and reading.
DO YOU DO THIS FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, OR IS IT A SIDE-HOBBY?
My youtube channel and writing are hobbies for me. It was a way to reach out and find others who love this genre and reading as much as I do. No one in my life really reads as much or even cozies.
WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO FOCUS ON COZY MYSTERIES?
I stumbled on Cozy Mysteries in 2013ish. I loved how darn cozy they were. I loved the mystery behind them. And if you find an amazing series that has a backlog you can binge read!!!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING INVOLVED IN THE COZY MYSTERY COMMUNITY?
This is without a doubt the kindest community and most open I have ever seen. There are rarely any comments or people who aren’t kind and understanding. It makes me proud to be a part of this community.
WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE COZY MYSTERY AUTHORS?
Goodness gracious, there are so many. Ellie Alexander, Ellery Adams, Julie Anne Lindsey, London Lovett. I could go on.

WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE LOVE TO READ COZY MYSTERIES?
There is something special about cozies. They make you think. They give you a cozy home and a community to grow with. They make you feel safe, even with the murders!
IF YOU WERE MAROONED ON A DESERTED ISLAND, WHAT 3 BOOKS WOULD YOU WANT WITH YOU?
